'Desert Range'

'Desert Range' is an original 51 x 76cm abstract painting that was inspired by a journey through Central Australia where the colors are magnificent and the wind swirls over the constantly changing landscape.
Imagine this as an oblique view of the desert where there is a constant tussle between the elements. The black lines represent man's unsuccessful efforts to control the environment.
When making my art, I search for elements, structure and places that intuitively fit into 'my reality'. This is why I frequently create imagery that's full of rhythms, colors, lines and most importantly, motion.
